While we’re happy to host your website for you during the initial development phase, we strongly encourage our clients to own their own hosting account like they own their own domain. Now with so much competition in the market for hosting companies, prices are very affordable with reputable companies.
Read on for my personal recommendation for hosting your website. Once you have your account set up, just let me know the login details and I will personally transfer your site over to your account. I will still be able to take care of any updates and tweaks to your design that you’d like, but you can rest easy knowing that your hosting is in your own hands.
HostGator
I use HostGator for my hosting and it has been quite easy to use and reliable. They have a few plan options that offer the best prices around and give you opportunity for growth as your website traffic grows, and different options depending on how many sites you have to host.
Another significant perk is that they include a free SSL certificate, allowing your site to be hosted as HTTPS, which boosts search result rank and tells your customers that they’re interacting with a site that takes their security seriously.
One thing to note is that they will by default add on SiteLock Monitoring and Site Backup, but you can remove those as we work with WordPress plugins that handle the same security measures for you at no charge.
Hatchling Plan
Perfect for the single-domain business. Initial Purchase is 2.75/month, and you can choose a 3-year billing cycle to lock in that price for the first 3 years. After the initial plan is up, the pricing goes up to 6.95/month (still a bit less than GoDaddy’s basic plan costing 7.99/month).

Baby Plan
This is the option I would recommend to any company that has multiple domains that they want to host, as it allows for unlimited domains to be hosted on it. It starts out at 3.95/month for the first billing cycle, up to 3 years, and then goes up to 9.95/month thereafter.
